It’s been months since Sin Island premiered but Coleen Garcia still has a few stories from their shoot. Particularly, stunts that went awry.
Speaking to Inquirer.net, Coleen shared how she almost broke her nose after co-star Nathalie Hart punched her during a pivotal scene. “Mga four days siyang nandito sa nose ko. Ang pula-pula sobrang prone pa naman na ma-break ‘yung nose ko kasi ang laki-laki.” (The bruise was on my nose for four days. It was so red, my nose is prone to breaking because it’s so big.)
Nathalie also had an accident during that scene after an explosive device malfunctioned. She had to get a laser on her shoulder to remove the marks, as well as tetanus shots.
Yikes, that sounded like an intense scene. But at least both of them are okay and that they kept it professional throughout the shoot. Just be extra careful next time!
