This is how Anne Curtis got through the London Marathon

Anne Curtis finished the London Marathon last night and she documented her experience on Instagram Stories. Anne is definitely a running junkie and has joined other marathons in the past. She finished a half marathon at RUNRIO and SMDC Run, among others. She also joined the NYC Marathon in November 2016. This time, however, she pushed herself even more and joined a full marathon. That’s 42 km.

On Instagram she shared her training experience, which didn’t always go according to plan. One day she shared, “Today was supposed to be my LAST long run of 34km before I taper. Unfortunately, I only got to 14 and then the side of my right foot started aching.” Despite this, Anne was still determined to finish the London Marathon. Days leading up to the marathon she also ran 13 km and shared photos with her different medals.

During the marathon itself, Anne shared some snippets of the race on Instagram Stories. Here’s a peek at the starting line.

She also checked in at 30 kilometers and Anne said she was “so tired.”

With just 385 yards to go, Anne posted this photo with a big smile on her face.

Husband Erwan Heussaff was also there to cheer her on. He also snapped this photo with her finisher medal.
