Not only is Katy Perry currently in Rome but she met someone special too. While attending the “Untied to Cure” conference in The Vatican, Katy got to meet Pope Francis. She posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram. She also expressed her excitement: “Honored to be in the presence of His Holiness [Pope Francis’] compassionate heart and inclusivity.”
She was also joined by her mother, manager, and “darling” Orlando Bloom. This also confirms that they are indeed back together.
The main reason why Katy was at the conference was to talk about meditation and how it has helped her cope during difficult times. On Instagram she said, “I’m inspired and encouraged today, and grateful to share how meaningful transcendental meditation has been for me. I hope you’ll choose to learn more about The Cura Foundation and how the newest technologies and cutting edge therapies are bringing hope to the world!”
As serious as this topic is, Katy still found some time to have fun at The Vatican.
