Pinoy Big Brother alum Maymay Entrata is often spotted on the trending pages. She’s known for her funny and lighthearted demeanor, as well as one-half of the #MayWard (her and Edward Barber) love team which fans fawn over every time. But recently, the young actress made headlines when rumors spread that she’s joining Asia’s Next Top Model.
This started when beauty queen Vickie Rushton praised one of her photos and said that she can join AsNTM. Fans started to express their support for Maymay to pursue the opportunity. Her photos were also posted on AsNTM Cycle 6‘s Facebook page wherein they said she’s a “Wishlist” contestant. Even Tyra Banks herself apparently liked a tweet that featured Maymay’s photo. But, sadly, the actress denied the rumors on Twitter last week.
Still, we decided to scroll through Maymay’s Instagram feed and found some model-worthy shots even when she’s not posing for magazine covers. These include simple selfies, travel photos, and BTS shots. So if you’re kinda sad that she’s not joining AsNTM, you can still appreciate the photos below.
How to work a hoodie
Here, you can see Maymay working her angles while wearing a black hoodie and a pair of sunglasses. You can’t see her eyes but she’s probably smizing behind those specs.
Doing travel OOTDs like a fierce lady
While in Europe, Maymay had her first snowy experience. Of course, she took the opportunity to take OOTD shots while wearing a wool coat. Whether it was candid or posed, it’s like she’s projecting for a fun fashion catalog.
Channeling Lady Gaga
Maymay made an appearance in Vice Ganda’s 2017 concert and performed “Born this Way” by Lady Gaga. She also wore an elaborate outfit that looks like a dress with swords attached to it. She still worked it while chilling on the couch though.
Fairy tale moment
One of the defining fashion moments in Maymay’s career was during the Star Magic Ball 2017. She wore a white ball gown by Mark Bumgarner and kept her makeup look minimal. It was an elegant ensemble overall!
Show off that profile
You can’t go wrong with the “look to the distance” pose like Maymay did here. Amp up your photo a bit by adding highlighter so you can show off your shimmery cheekbone/s.
Not afraid to look silly
If supermodels like Tyra Banks and Coco Rocha taught us anything, it’s that a models can show a wide range of emotions. This includes possibly looking silly in some photos. While Maymay isn’t a professional model (yet), she often shows her fun side with wacky selfies. Who knows? This might just be useful to create more variety in her photos.
