After the success of Never Not Love You, Nadine Lustre is already working on another film titled Ulan. Fans might be wondering, “Is James Reid part of the movie?” No, you won’t be seeing the beloved JaDine love team here.
According to Bandera, the cast of Ulan recently met for a story conference. This included Nadine, Xian Lim, Marco Gumabao, and AJ Muhlach. It’ll be directed by Irene Villamor, who’s also known for the blockbuster hit Sid & Aya (Not a Love Story), and it’ll reportedly focus on self-love.
The reason why James isn’t part of the movie is because he’s starring in Pedro Penduko. It might also be because the couple have decided to work as individuals and not as a love team for the time being. I mean, both of them have worked on separate projects before, especially in terms of music. Nadine even launched her own makeup line.
Xian also spoke about being Nadine’s love interest in the film and why the fans shouldn’t be upset about it. “It’s always a great opportunity and experience to work with other people. In the end, we just want to be able to give you guys a great film/project you all can enjoy,” he said in a tweet.
There’s no premiere date for the film yet, but who’s excited for this already?
