Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio opens up about her reproductive issues

Reproductive issues is never an easy topic to talk about and Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio knows that in its entirety. She has a son named Philip who is now four years old, but in 2016 she suffered a miscarriage

Last night, she published a video on her YouTube channel where she openly talks about her reproductive issues and how she is dealing with it. During one of her checkups with different specialists, it was revealed that she also suffered a miscarriage in 2017.

After multiple tests (she was a little nervous during a blood extraction), different doctors, and even medications, she was finally given a go signal to try to have a baby. Philip was even the one to share the good news with his papa, Pastor Joseph Bonifacio. They were really happy and hopeful and even celebrated after a long day of hospital errands. Philip so ready to name his future sibling and we’re pretty sure that’s exciting.

It took a while for Rica to open up about this issue, but then she thought of all the mothers and mothers-to-be who are going through the same thing—most are always faced with negative news. She encourages them to always be hopeful and that everything is really worth the wait—but she said that even waiting is a difficult thing and she’s not discrediting that. She wanted to uplift and inspire others, and she shared what keeps her strong and that is her relationship with God.

Thank you for sharing that, Rica. We’re pretty sure a lot of women could relate and is thankful for opening up. We’re sending you love and prayers!
