A #MeToo movie might be in the works

With all of the allegations surrounding the #MeToo movement, there was bound to be a movie or TV show made based on some of the stories. According to The Hollywood Reporter, that might just be in the works.

It was reported that Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron, and Nicole Kidman will be starring in a movie about the Roger Ailes scandal. He was the chairman and CEO of Fox News who was accused of sexual harassment by Gretchen Carlson in 2016.

There was a settlement of $20 million that same year. Roger then passed away last year. According to Refinery29, “In August of 2016, Carlson’s lawyers said the number of private and public Ailes accusers was over 20.”

The film is written by Charles Randolph and will be directed by Jay Roach (Game Change and Trumbo).

No other information has been released just yet but watch this space for updates.
