Marvin Agustin on the EDSA single-passenger ban: Do pets count as driving companions?

Today was the first day of the week-long dry-run implementation on the banning of single-passenger private vehicles along EDSA, and it seems people are having a hard time adjusting to the new scheme, as Inquirer.net reported over 3,000 were caught violating the policy. During the day, actor Marvin Agustin had a cute idea he wanted to run by the MMDA in regards with the new scheme. Posting a photo of his dogs at the back seat, he asked whether having his furry companions along would mean he’s exempt from the single-passenger rule.

Sadly, Marvin’s proposition was crushed by MMDA’s negative response.

Once again, the singles ban broke our collective hearts.
