There are days when you just need a little kilig in your life. Yesterday, it was Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban’s GGV interview. Today, it’s Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber.
Maymay posted on Instagram that Edward surprised her and asked to be his date for the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball this weekend. The van was decorated with paper hearts and fringes, complete with balloons, flowers, Cornetto ice cream, and a sign that said, “Libre ka ba? Libre ka ba to be my date sa ABS-CBN Ball?” (Are you free? Are you free to be my date for the ABS-CBN Ball?)
Maymay’s caption was actually her answer, “Sobrang libre ako para sayo! Maraming salamat sa surprise mo dodooong!” (I am free for you! Thank you so much for the surprise!)
And just like that, it felt like prom season all over again wherein people get asked out to be their dates in a “grand gesture” kind of way. Not gonna lie, we’re slightly jealous.
