For their 10th wedding anniversary, Doug Kramer said in a post that they planned to renew their vows in Boracay, Tagaytay, and Baguio—but all of them didn’t work out. But instead of waiting for next summer to celebrate as planned, his wife Chesca Garcia-Kramer thought it’d be better to hold a surprise vow renewal on the exact day of their anniversary.
Chesca managed to gather their closest friends and family at Grand Hyatt Manila for the ceremony. It started out with Doug entering the venue followed by their three kids Scarlett, Kendra, and Gavin. Shorrly after, Chesca walked down the aisle in a blush pink dress and a bouquet of flowers. Her “success!” face is also the highlight of her entrance.
According to Doug, he was supposed to surprise Chesca with a mini-celebration with family and that he’ll give her a ring as a sign of their 10-year union. “Biggest surprise of my life!” he said on Instagram.
For the reception dinner, the setup was described as “#ElevatedRusticity” by event stylist Jo Claravall. There were also musical performances from Side A’s Joey G (Chesca and Doug also slow-danced to “Forevermore”), Anne Curtis, Danica Sotto-Pingris, and more.
Big congratulations to the lovely couple! Especially Chesca for pulling off a surprise like this.
