Kim Jones goes all-out on pink and flowers for his debut Dior Men campaign

Following his runway debut for Dior Men in June, Kim Jones has now released the first look at the collection’s campaign.

For his debut Dior Men campaign, Kim went for a very millennial pink look. With Steven Maisel as photographer, the models are shot against a dusty pink background, and behind them, none other than a giant Kaws sculpture made out of more than 70,000 flowers, similar to the one featured on the runway. Additionally, Prince Nikolai of Denmark makes an appearance in this campaign in the same blue and white striped suit he wore on the runway while opening for the show.

Kim explained to WWD, “I wanted the advertising to reflect the spirit of the men’s summer show and the beauty of Dior.” He added, “I’ve always wanted to work with Kaws, I think he’s super chic and also his work speaks to a lot of people.” The full campaign, including the campaign video created by Jackie Nickerson, will debut tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled.
