Ariana Grande just dropped the audio and music video for 7 Rings. The only thing we can say about it is, damn, it’s a boujee song about friendship. (Trust us, we mean that in a good way.)
Throughout the song, Ariana sings about treating herself with her favorite things—even using the tune of Mary Poppins‘ “Favorite Things” in some verses. She makes mention of the “bad sh*t” she’s gone through, as well as the infamous backstory behind the song.
Last December, Ariana told Billboard that she’d bought herself and six of her friends diamond Tifanny & Co. rings as a sign of their friendship. The six ladies are Tayla Parx, Victoria Monet, Courtney Chipolone, Njomza, Alexa Luria, and Kaydence. This also happened after Ariana and ex-fiancé Pete Davidson broke up, so these rings have even more value than any engagement ring.
