As soon as You became available on Netflix, people got hooked and even binged the show until the very end. If you have been living under a rock and have not seen even one episode, the story centers around a book store manager Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley) who had a deep, dark, killer secret—he’s actually stalking and controlling scenarios so he can be with the one he liked. The first season’s star and Joe’s obsession was no other than Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail).
But since she is out of the picture for the second season, Joe will surely find a new woman to creep on and ta-da, it’s no other than Love Quinn to be played by The Haunting of Hill House’s Victoria Pedretti.
In case you didn’t know the series You was actually based on a book by Caroline Kepnes. In the sequel novel Hidden Bodies, Joe will apparently move to Los Angeles (OMG, he’s taking this to another state!) and will meet Love, an aspiring chef who works as a produce manager in a high-end grocery store (like Whole Foods?). They will have a connection because they both are going through grief and loss (uhm, duh, Beck!).
According to TV Line, the production for the second season will start soon and is set to premiere next year. OMG, we can’t wait.
