Sarah Geronimo performed at a papal visit and Matteo Guidicelli is her biggest fan

From being dubbed the “Beyoncé of the Philippines” while in Japan to performing for Pope Francis, Sarah Geronimo is on a roll.

Sarah performed in Abu Dhabi, UAE yesterday during the pope’s historic Mass in the Arabian Peninsula. She sang her hits like “Forever’s Not Enough” and “Rise Up,” as well as a rendition of Celine Dion’s “The Prayer.”

The latter was so good that you could feel the power from way over here. But no one’s prouder than her boyfriend, Matteo Guidicelli, who applauded Sarah’s achievement and her “perfect Italian” in “The Prayer.”

Fans also congratulated their idol via the hashtag #SarahGatthePapalVisitUAE.

Yup, Sarah G. is slowly, but definitely, taking on the world stage.
