Lady Gaga is the first artist to win BAFTA and Grammy awards on the same day

Lady Gaga is on a roll! On top of her Oscars nomination, and Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice, and BAFTA wins, the singer and actress has just received multiple awards from the Grammys—before the event even started.

Prior to the actual awards ceremony, she won best song written for visual media with “Shallow,” and best pop solo performance with “Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?).”

The news came just hours after she won a BAFTA Award for original music, making her the first person ever to win a BAFTA and a Grammy on the same day.

The pop star took to Twitter to share her excitement.

Meanwhile, she revealed her Grammy wins brought her to tears, stressing that, “A Grammy for Joanne is more than me & my family could ever dream of. I sang that version in one take, & poured my entire life & soul into it.”

What a night for Gaga! Other early winners of the night are Ariana Grande, who won best pop album for Sweetener, and Dua Lipa, who got best dance recording for her Silk City collaboration, “Electricity.” This marks the first Grammy win for both artists, who also expressed their gratitude through Twitter.

Congrats to these talented women!
