Digging through the clearance: 8 pairs of jeans that are less than P1,000

This week, we’re digging through the sale tabs once again but this time, we’re looking at fashion brands. Scrolling the different pages, I noticed that there were a lot of jeans listed with discounted prices, some even less than P1,000. Jeans can definitely be an investment but they should also be staple pieces in your wardrobe. They’re so easy to dress up or down and go with pretty much everything. You just have to find the right cut, style, and wash to match your wardrobe. Keep reading to see eight pairs you might want to consider shopping.

Zara Mid-Rise Culotte Jeans

Price: From P1,695 to P545

If jeans and culottes had a baby, it would be this pair of pants. It is mid-rise so it shows just a little bit of skin if you choose to wear a crop top. These have wide legs because of the culottes design so they’re easy and breezy. It also has a frayed hem, which adds a bit of edge to the piece. Throw on some high cut boots to finish off your ensemble. Available at Power Plant Mall.

Mango Contrast Panels Jeans

Price: From P2,295 to P995

Aside from blue, don’t forget to add a pair of black denim to your closet. This has the added detail of red stripes along the side. The perfect pop of color if your style is more simple and understated. The slim fit would look great with an oversized crisp white button up shirt, loafers, and red accessories. An ideal outfit for work. Available at SM Megamall.

Uniqlo High Rise Boyfriend Fit Jeans

Price: From P790 to P590

I have a pair of these jeans in two different colors. Yes, I love them that much. Not only is the boyfriend fit comfortable, but it’s flattering as well. Unlike other jeans I’ve owned in the past, these are so soft and comfortable that I could wear them every day if I wanted to. I like to wear them with the hem cuffed and paired with almost everything from sneakers to boots, with crop tops, bodysuits, and shirts tucked in. Available at Glorietta 5.

Balaynor Skinny Slight Acid Wash Jeans

Price: From P1,299 to P889

If skinny jeans are your go-to cop them in a light wash. These are low-rise, and would go great with any 2000’s-inspired look. Throw it way back with a chain belt, mini shoulder bag, and a bikini top or bralette. Too much skin? Throw a sheer top over it. Available on Zalora PH.

ForMe Mid Waist Jeans With Rips

Price: From P998 to P500

Give your legs some room to breathe with built-in rips. These have a straight cut, folded hems, and distressing along the knees. You can let that inspire your entire outfit by wearing a top that’s also distressed. Or, you can go the other route and wear something plain and simple. Available at Shangri-La Plaza.

Mossimo Boyfriend Turn Up Jeans

Price: From P1,790 to P899

These jeans already come pre-cuffed, and I am a huge fan. They are low-rise and have a boyfriend fit. Looking at the photos, they seem like loose and comfy. A staple for running errands or Sunday morning brunches where you can’t be bothered to put too much effort into what you’re wearing. Dress it up with a belt and you’re good to go. Available at Glorietta 4.

Wrangler Regular Tapered Jeans

Price: From P1,299 to P900

Super deep blue wash jeans are my favorite right now, so I had to include one on this list. These fall right above the ankles so you can show off your high-cut boots and sneakers. You can also use high socks to accessorize. I suggest wearing ones with designs and embellishments. Or even the ones that are see through. Available at SM Makati.

Penshoppe Paperbag Denim Jeans

Price: From P1,099 to P499

A paper bag waist isn’t just for shorts, you can find them on jeans too. It comes in a dark wash with contrast stitching and wide legs that taper at the bottom. Easily sinch in the waist with the denim belt that it comes with. I would keep the top part fitted with a tank top or even a bodysuit toc omplement the looseness of the pants. Available at Alabang Town Center.
