Pink dresses for every occasion in your life

I don’t know what has come over me in the past few months, but all of a sudden, I am obsessed with pink. So much so that I even dyed my hair a bright shade. I’m not a fan of the Oscars anymore but I do look forward to the red carpet looks. It came as a shock to me when I saw a lot of celebrities dressed in pink gowns instead of the traditional black, red, and sparkly.

Sarah Paulson was spotted in this creation by Brandon Maxwell.

Giambattista Valli dressed two women. Kacey Musgraves was in a layered piece while Maya Rudolph’s gown had a cape.

My favorite was Gemma Chan, who wore a Valentino gown in a almost neon pink shade. Can someone please tell me I can pay for this dress on installment?

Seeing all of these clothes, I am inspired to add more pink to my wardrobe. I searched the Internet for different dresses in different shades and listed them based on when and where you can wear them. Let’s go shopping, ladies!

Karimadon x Rosenthal Tee Marie Rose Dress in Light Pink

Type: Wedding

Step away from nudes and go for a pop of color for a wedding or formal event. This one has layered ruffles, a ribbon detail, and exposes the shoulders. The best part? You will be giving a nude illusion. Naked dresses are seriously my fave because they just make me feel so sexy. But, you won’t be flashing anyone in this since it has a slip lining. Available at Glorietta 1.

H&M MAMA Frill-Sleeved Dress

Type: Maternity

Moms to be can enjoy this fun color too. It has flounce sleeves and a flowy skirt that we can see worn to tea time with the girls or even work. It has a tie belt so you can show off your belly as little or as much as you want. If you’re not pregnant, this probably also works with food babies. The model on the website is wearing it with red boots, and I am a fan. Available at Uptown Mall.

Glamorous Metallic Mini Dress

Type: Party

Some people find pink an obnoxious color, and I couldn’t disagree more. But, if you want to go that route, just to annoy them, I suggest throwing on this shiny mini dress. It has a metallic finish and a tie detail along the waist. Throw on some equally bold shoes, and you’re ready for a party. But, is the party ready for you? Available on Zalora PH.

In Good Company Sienna Crepe Draped Back Dress

Type: Cocktail

This shade of pink is a mix of bubblegum and pastel. A nice in-between shade for a cocktail gathering. It falls just below the knees and has a butterfly draped design at the back. This piece is the dress version of the saying, “business in the front, party in the back.” Available at SM Makati.

Undo Louise Dress

Type: Beach Trip

A linen dress is essential for any beach trip. If you don’t already have one, pick this up. It falls above the knee and a one shoulder tie detail. It also has a criss-cross opening in the front, creating a slit. You can flaunt your legs and get some nice ocean breeze ventilation at the same time. Available online.

Harlan + Holden Halter Blouson Inherit

Type: Work

A subtle pink shade can look great in the office. There’s also something about a high neckline that makes me feel like a boss lady. If you tend to get cold, pair this with a blazer in the same color. For shoes, keep it comfortable with loafers  and ankle socks. Available at Adora, Greenbelt 5.

Topshop Tie Waist Maxi Shirt Dress

Type: Travel

Please, consider wearing a dress the next time you travel. Not only is it hassle-free, but they’re super comfortable too. This is a maxi dress so you don’t have to worry about your legs getting cold on the plane. Layer this with an oversized sweater, mini backpack, and slip-on sneakers. Okay, I think I just convinced myself to buy this dress. Available at Power Plant Mall.

Uniqlo Crew Neck T Short Sleeve Dress

Type: Casual

I am a sucker for all things Uniqlo U and this T-shirt dress is on my wishlist. This is the easiest outfit you could possibly have in your closet. On a lazy day—just pick one—throw this on with a crossbody bag, high-cut sneakers, and bucket hat. Very on trend without trying too hard. Available at Glorietta 5.
