If I had to choose a fictional character who defined bombshell makeup, it has to be Jessica Rabbit. She appeared in the live-action-slash-animated film Who Framed Roger Rabbit? where she portrays a singer (think: Marilyn Monroe singing “Happy birthday, Mr. President”) and the wife of a cartoon bunny. Kinda weird now that I think about it.
Anyway, many women have tried to recreate her look for cosplays and Halloween parties. One great example is Heidi Klum, who wasn’t shy about the amount of prosthetics she put on to imitate her overly huge bust.
But you don’t have to resort to the extremes to achieve that Jessica Rabbit look because Ciaté London is releasing a collection inspired by the character. They first revealed it with a video featuring scenes from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and switched to a mini makeup tutorial showing all the products.
The limited-edition collection includes a nine-shade eyeshadow palette with purples similar to Jessica’s lids; a Glow-To creamy powder highlighter; and lastly, a red Glitter Storm lipstick to complete the bombshell look.
This will drop on March 5 on Sephora. Keeping our fingers crossed that it includes the PH site.
