Treat yourself to some nail extensions at these salons

After listing a few spots to visit for eyelash extensions, I wanted to scour the Internet for nail salons that offer nail extensions. Unlike other countries, nail extensions aren’t that popular locally but you’ll be surprised that a lot of places actually offer these services. Under that, they also have different categories that list the different types of extensions, materials used, and also the length. If you want to fulfil that IG baddie aesthetic, get some acrylics here.

Nailaholics

Service: Marine Artsy-Fishnal Nails

Nailaholics has two options for their extensions and are MethylMethAcrylate-free. This means they are safe for the environment and are non-hazardous. They also blend seamlessly with your natural nails. This particular service will cover your entire nail, has a perfect fit, and you can even pick a nail polish to go over it. Located at 2F Uptown Mall, 36th Street corner 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

Extraordinail

Service: Acrylic Nails Full Set Medium

Take notes from Heart Evangelista and go for a crazy print on your nail extensions. You can have semi-clear acrylic extensions and play around with that. Have the nail technicians add a minimal print, stripes, and even a simple outline in a bold color. The latter is my personal favorite design and I want that done to all my nails. You can also have the size customized from super long to medium, and small. Located at 101A Continental Court Annapolis, Greenhills, San Juan City.

Mi & Me Luxury Nails

Service: Gel Nail Extension

If you want to go completely out of your comfort zone and try something crazy, these gel nails are it. You can finally get the nails you’ve spotted in Instagram or on the Kardashians. They’re not the most practical but I’d say go for it for special events or the gram. Don’t hold back and go crazy with shiny embellishments. Located at Unit 10 Bellagio Square, J. Bocobo Street, Malate, Manila.

KathNails by KCMB

Service: Polygel Nail Extension

Kathryn Bernardo opened her first nail salon two years ago and one of the services offered are nail extensions. There are several options, including polygel. This is a hybrid, which is in between acrylic and gel. It’s a liquid material that can be shaped and molded and then cured using an LED lamp. I definitely want to try this one out to see how the whole process goes. Located at Lower Ground Level, SM Southmall, Alabang-Zapote Road, Alamanza, Las Piñas City.

Posh Nails

Services: Nail Extension

Enhance the length of your nails with their extensions and add another step. Once that process is done, you can either get a simple coat of polish or go for something more playful. Use this opportunity to get some nail art done as well. Choose a full design or just focus on the tips for something unique. Located at 109 Maripol Building, Perea Street, Legaspi Village, Makati city.

Nail Talk and Beauty Spa

Service: Acrylic Nail Extensions

When it comes to nail extensions, I’ve always wanted to get them done so I could pick the shape of the nail. I usually cut my nails round but for extensions, I would want to try something different like an almond shape. This will elongate your fingers even more and act as a large base for whatever design you choose afterwards. Located at 50-H Timog Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.

Kiyosa

Service: Nail Art

Kiyosa combines both nail art and extensions. They start off by applying the nails and then going on with your desired design. Don’t be afraid to hold back because they pretty much do it all. Pick a theme like sweet treats or mermaids, or go for something more glamorous like Swarovski crystals. Whatever you choose, the technician is sure to give you what you want. Located at GF, F1 Hotel, 32nd Street corner Lane Q, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
