Have your nails painted is always a good form of relaxation and pampering. And having freshly done nails can also make you feel better about your day. However, constantly applying polish on your nails can harm them in the long run. You might even experience breakage, dryness, and discoloration. This has happened to me too and it’s not cool. Giving your nails a break is definitely advisable but there are products you can use to boost this process and enrich your nails with the vitamins they need. If you’re in need of some good things for your nails, try the products below.

Happy Skin Nail Rebuilder Serum Natural Color + treatment

Even if you’re not wearing any nail polish, take that extra step to care of your claws. If you’re going on a trip, for example, take this with you. It has hydrolyzed collagen that treats brittleness and lemon peel oil for yellowing. It also has UV protection, perfect for days on the beach. Available at Glorietta 4.

Sally Hansen Nail Rehab

If gel nail polish is your jam, don’t forget to take a break once in a while. While on that break, treat your nails to some TLC. Infused with jasmine, rose, and vitamin E, this will strengthen your nails and hide imperfections. Apply one to two coats and then repeat the process after a week to see results. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.

Butter London Quickfix Moisturizing Cuticle Balm

Don’t let dry cuticles get you down, treat them right away. This balm acts as a moisturizer and conditioning treatment. It prevents drying without leaving your hands greasy. Available on Sephora PH.

OPI  Nail Envy Dry & Brittle

opi nail serum

Quickly fix dry and brittle nails with vitamins E and C. This is also infused with calcium that helps build nails stronger and longer. You can use this alone as a treatment or underneath polish as a base coat. Available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.

Anny Calcium Nail Attack

Give your nails the dose of calcium it needs with this treatment. It will strengthen dry nails and will also help healthy nail growth. You can also use this to fight off discoloration from polish. Available on Beauty MNL.
