Here’s a little trivia about Bea Alonzo: She joined show business because of Jericho Rosales. Not the sole reason, but definitely one of her career drivers.
While on Tonight with Boy Abunda, Bea admitted she never missed an episode of Pangako Sa’Yo, a TV series back in 2000 featuring Jericho and his love team then, Kristine Hermosa. “Kapag tinitingnan niya si Kristine Hermosa, iniisip ko na ako yung tinitingnan niya. Iniisip ko noon, ‘One day pag nagka-boyfriend ako, ganyan niya ako titingnan,’” (When Jericho would look at Kristine, I would imagine that he’d be looking at me. I would also think then that one day when I get a boyfriend, he would look at me the same way.) Bea candidly shared.
The question is, did Jericho know about this story? And yes, he does. During one of the Star Magic Ball parties, Bea got tipsy and confessed all of this to Jericho and as soon as she said it, she couldn’t look at him straight in the eye. She said that up to now, he still knows about it.
Good to know that Bea Alonzo is just like every other person when we have a crush. We also get mushy and passionate!
