The list of possible Filipinas who’ll play Marvel superhero Wave has increased. Angel Locsin was first; now, Pia Wurtzbach has expressed her interest.
The former Miss Universe was recently asked if she would audition for the role if a War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas film adaptation does happen. Pia said, “Definitely. If there’s gonna be an audition for it, I’m gonna try for that. Why not, ‘di ba?” She added it will be a dream come true to play a Marvel superhero.

Pia is no stranger to superhero roles. She played one in the comedy flick Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad, which also starred Vice Ganda and Daniel Padilla.
This Wave film isn’t even happening yet—the comic series doesn’t even come out ’til May—but the current selection is already exciting. Now, we ask you: Who do you want to add to this list?
