The kids of Stranger Things know a thing or two about horror and the ‘80s. So will they relate to the Pinoy horror classic Regal Shocker: The Movie, that kept kids up at night with their lights open back in the ‘80s?
Well, apparently they did because it didn’t frighten them one bit.
Actors Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobbie Brown, and Sadie Sink all enjoyed the Pinoy classic over some good popcorn and some mean soda.
Clearly unfazed by the monsters and the girl in the closet, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the vintage lighting and mascot creature—with Finn suggesting,“Maybe the monster just wants to be loved!”
You might be right, Finn. You seem to have some experience.
Meanwhile, the girls in the front row, Millie and Sadie, just want the girl dead, and were chanting, ”Kill her, kill her, kill her!” over and over. How nice of them
Widely considered that it was the scariest episode of Regal Shocker, the Stranger Things cast seemed to enjoy themselves well enough. So maybe when the true monsters of the Upside Down arrive, we can count on them to protect us.
Right? I sure hope so.
