Action movies with strong female leads? We can’t get enough of them. One film that came out last month was Maria starring Christine Reyes. In it she plays a cartel assassin who is being hunted down. Looking at the trailer, you can tell that Christine worked hard physically for this role.
Following strong reviews, Netflix announced that they bought the worldwide rights to the action film. So, if you missed it in cinemas last month, you’ll be able to stream it online starting May 17. In the meantime, you can watch these Filipino movies out on Netflix now.
