Moira Dela Torre on the dangers of her nose job: “I was at high risk of being blind”

Idol Philippines judge and singer Moira Dela Torre opened up in a press conference for her upcoming concert Braver— on the challenging times she faced with the mishap on her non-invasive rhinoplasty for her nose.

The procedure was conducted two months after her wedding to Jason Marvin Hernandez in January.

She revealed, “Well, basically, may nagkamali (Basically, someone made a mistake). And my nose went on necrosis. And it was a very simple procedure. It’s non-invasive. But it went wrong.”

Moria also admitted that there were a lot of high risks that came with the defective nose job “Hindi po siya naagapan agad (It was not taken care of) because we had no idea what was happening. I was at high risk of being blind, of aneurysm, of heart attack, and stroke.”

The singer also assured the media that she is doing better after spending nearly three months in home recovery, “I’m 85% healed, I feel like I’m 100% healed internally. I feel like this whole season really did make me so much braver.”

Despite the number of risks that the procedure yielded for Moira, she disclosed that she will not be filing any case against the doctor who worked on her nose, “Napatawad ko na rin naman po (I have forgiven him) and I know that that person didn’t mean to do that. I’ve forgiven that person. That person helped me fix everything.”
