This year’s ABS-CBN Ball is happening tomorrow (Sept. 14) and we all know fans are excited to see how celebrities will dress in their modern Filipiniana, and also seeing their favorite couples being sweet on the red carpet.
We’ve seen different types of couples in the past years. Some show up with their significant others while others opt to go with their friends (e.g. Moira Dela Torre and Sam Milby) because why not? There are those who use the event to announce who they’re dating (e.g. Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz in 2017).
So, which couple and love team are we going to see on the red carpet this year? We have some guesses.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla
Unless Kathyrn’s “Hello, Love, Goodbye” co-star Alden Richards makes a surprise appearance at the ball. But as of now, KathNiel is still going to be at the top of fans’ lists.
Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil
Enrique was recently at a fitting with designer Randy Ortiz, while Liza met with Patricia Santos for her outfit. That pretty much confirms LizQuen’s appearance.
Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber
As usual, MayWard brought the kilig with another ABS-CBN Ball proposal. This time, it was documented on Maymay’s vlog.
Janella Salvador and Joshua Garcia
If you’re not following the “Killer Bride” fan train, then you might’ve missed this new love team. JoshNella is everyone’s new obsession right now because of the stars’ chemistry. The big question: Are they going together to the ball?
Nadine Lustre and James Reid
JaDine has been pretty low-key about their ABS-CBN Ball preparations this year, but we know fans are still expecting them.
Kylie Verzosa and Jake Cuenca
The “Los Bastardos” co-stars and real-life couple is expected to make their ABS-CBN Ball debut tomorrow. Ready your hearts!
Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte
This will be their third ABS-CBN Ball together. Any excited LoiNie fans out there?
Moira Dela Torre and Jason Hernandez
Last year, Moira went with her friend, Sam Milby, to the ABS-CBN Ball. Perhaps this year, her husband, Jason, could tag along with her.
Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff
Another married couple we’re excited to see: Anne and Erwan! It was the latter’s first time to walk the ABS-CBN Ball red carpet and he admitted to feeling nervous about it. Hopefully Erwan will be calmer if he decides to go with Anne again this year.
Kim Chiu and Xian Lim
Kim and Xian won our hearts last year with their matching outfits. Are they going to coordinate looks this year as well?
