PSA: David Beckham is coming to Manila

Yes, you heard it right: David Beckham is coming to Manila.

The former professional football player will be in Manila to take part in the AIA Philam Life Live Better Expo’s wellness and protection summit on Oct. 13 in Enderun Tent in Taguig City.

David is currently an AIA Global Ambassador, president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint Germain, and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield record until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries, namely England, Spain, the United States, and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

“We are thrilled to have David Beckham join us and share his daily wellness journey at the Live Better Expo,” said Philam Life Chief Marketing Officer Leo Tan.

“His healthy and active lifestyle best exemplifies what our brand promise of living a Healthier, Longer and Better Life means. We are happy to have him in Manila and inspire Filipinos to also embrace and bring to life our brand promise,” he added.

The event will also feature lifestyle sessions with Nico Bolzico, Solenn Heusaff, Raymond Gutierrez, and Wil Dasovich.

David will continue to promote the benefits and importance of living a well-balanced lifestyle during the expo here in Manila. It will be preceded by a football clinic led by Philam Life 7s Football League Commissioner Anton Del Rosario, in tandem with David himself.
