Jennifer Garner ended the weekend strong.
She put up a brave front this weekend for her kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, where they were reportedly spending a sunny time by the poolside in Atlanta sans husband and father Ben Affleck.
The latter was seen attending this year’s Comic-Con to promote the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The past weekend is one of Jennifer’s attempts to keep the family together, and prioritize her kids’ welfare amid the ongoing divorce. To be fair, Ben has been equally cooperative with these efforts. Last Friday, the two were spotted hanging out together in their Los Angeles neighborhood. Before that, they spent quality time without the children for a weekend in Bahamas.
Recently, the separated couple was also found wearing their wedding bands on occasions they spent away from each other. That might mean either forgetfulness or a matter of habit, but Bennifer shows how dedicated they are to peacefully co-parenting their young ones.
After all, the divorce was not a contentious decision, but rather, a step toward giving the best to the Affleck kids. Who said a breakup always has to be so ugly?
