5 women’s health apps worth trying out

With so much happening in our everyday lives, it’s hard to keep track of everything. At times, we get too busy that we tend to forget to watch our health. For women, there’s so much to our health that we need to keep tabs on.

According to Harvard Health, a number of health concerns only affect women—which includes menstruation, menopause, and pregnancy. However, it doesn’t just stop there. What we don’t know is that, although we experience the same issues with men, certain diseases affect us differently than it would a man.

Many would say that prevention is better than the cure. That’s why we think you should have these apps that will help you keep track of your health better:

Clue

Clue is a great app to use in tracking your menstrual cycles. Aside from letting it know when you’re having your period, you could also input your mood, discharge, body pains, and other symptoms so it would help you predict your cycles. It’s also a great way to let yourself be informed on how your body reacts to the changes it goes through.

Flo

Another menstrual cycle tracking app, Flo gives you more insight about your period. It functions the same as any other tracking app, but it also gives advice on the next step. Changes in cycles are normal, however we still have to be vigilant. The app will let you know if a change in your cycle, the pain you’re feeling or the discharge seems abnormal.

The 7 Minute Workout

With traffic and busy schedules eating up our time, it’s hard to squeeze in time for the gym. The 7 Minute Workout app is the perfect solution to that. Although it doesn’t come close to the recommended 30 minutes of workout, it gives you hard-hitting and intense 30-second blasts of circuit exercises—a quick fix for those pressed for time.

Charity Miles

And when we do have the time to workout, instead of hitting the gym, we often resort to good ol’ walking, running or biking. Charity Miles is a great app to track your mileage, so you’ll know just how much you’re burning. The great thing about it is that as you’re running or biking, you get to earn money for a charity of your choice.

Omvana

And although we are physically healthy, it’s also best that we keep track of our mental health. Omvana is a meditation app that provides thoughtfully curated tracks that you can listen to. This is perfect for busy women like us, because it doesn’t require long periods of time. Aside from meditation, Omvana lets you be better at life with tracks that help with stress management, healing, attracting abundance and more.
