Twice has us asking for ‘More & More’ with their new album drop

The long wait is over: Twice’s “More & More” mini-album is here. The K-pop girl group just released their ninth mini-album, which contains six tracks, today. They also dropped an eye-candy music video for title track “More & More.” Fans trended several hashtags in support of the girls, cluing us in on the fact that the group’s comeback lived up to their expectations.

It has been eight months since Twice’s last release in October last year. If their 2019 albums had a slightly nostalgic disco-pop sound and aesthetic, “More & More” steps away from that in favor of playing with the elements of today’s dance-pop and Latin hits. The songs “More & More” and “Firework” in particular borrowed more from those genres. Still, the album sounds as playful as ever and unmistakably made by Twice.

The members sported some striking looks in the music video. For the intro, they had on dreamy dresses which had them looking like fairies or fair maidens. The high waisted flared jeans combined cropped tops and white sneakers also had such a fun popstar vibe. They were ethereal when they switched it up with white outfits with tulle frills and gold details.

It seems JYP Entertainment went all out on this one, much to the delight of Once.
