For the benefit of Love Yourself Inc., an organization that raises HIV awareness, Megan Young is playing against Red Fernandez on Mobile Legends this Friday, June 19. Organized by TaskUs, VersUs is the first Philippine esports battle arranged for the benefit of the LGBTQ+ community.
During the first round of Q&A in Miss World 2013, we got a glimpse of Young’s hobby. “Well I know I may not look like it, but I’m a real avid video gamer,” she answers the video question given to her. In an interview with Inquirer.net back in 2013, Young divulged more about her gamer life. Despite growing up on platformers like “Super Mario,” she says that she’s into role playing games (RPG). Sharing more about her love for “Fable” and “Assassin’s Creed,” Young even compared games like “The Sims” with being a beauty queen—since it involved grooming herself to win the crown.
