Last night, Nicki Minaj posted four photos on her Instagram account to announce her pregnancy. In her third photo, captioned it with “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes,” she rocks a bikini adorned with bits from childhood like a burger, pacifier, candy and more.
Back in Oct. 2019, Minaj married her childhood friend Kenneth “Zoo” Petty after a year of dating. This comes after her announcement on Twitter a month prior that she was retiring in order to build a family and focus on that.
When they were still dating, Petty was a subject of public scrutiny due to his criminal records. In Dec. 2018, Minaj grew tired of the public labeling Petty as a sex offender (as the New York State department does) and quickly shot down the bashers on her Instagram post.
Prior to this announcement, Minaj dropped her collab “TROLLZ” with 6ix9ine last month. It talks about how they aren’t paying haters any attention.
