Angelica Panganiban is your new quirky agony aunt

Will society progress past the need for agony aunts who dole out advice to folks who feel like they have no one else to turn to? Perhaps never. Enter palaban funny woman Angelica Panganiban who announced that she might be up to the challenge, the challenge being providing a solution to all your woes.

Yes, she’s making her debut as an agony aunt.

On Sept. 9, the actress posted a video teaser for her upcoming advice show on Instagram. “Ayon na nga naubos na ang siyam na buwan na parang nagbuntis ka pero wala ka namang nailuwal. Pero, no worries. Pag-usapan natin ang mga emote mo sa life. Pag-chikahan natin ‘yan. Soon from Star Cinema,” she says in her ultra recognizable voice. From the vibe we’re getting, we’re definitely hoping to see the star be her jologs, candid and unapologetic self.

In another teaser on Star Cinema’s Instagram, Panganiban says, “Magpapasko na. Oh, eh masaya ka ba? Hindi tayo sure sa sagot, ano? Kaya naman tambay at damayan na lang tayo tuwing Biyernes ng gabi.” They have yet to reveal its premiere date, but we’re already looking forward to ending our work week with her. Admit it, “That Thing Called Tadhana” is still one of your guilty pleasures, and mostly because of her.

In the meantime, we’ll enjoy the pipin’ hot political tea she’s serving on Twitter.
