SM Entertainment has released a teaser of the lineup for their upcoming free online concert. Called Culture Humanity, the SMTown Live family concert will be held on New Year’s Day at 1 p.m. KST (that’s Jan. 1, 12 p.m. for us).
Performing in the concert are Red Velvet, NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, SuperM, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon, SHINee‘s Taemin, EXO‘s Baekhyun and Kai, Kangta, aespa, Raiden, GINJO and IMLAY.
This will be Wendy’s first time to perform with Red Velvet since fracturing her hip at the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejun. We’re so glad that she’s well enough to start performing—and we can’t wait to see her again.
According to Koreaboo, the live show is “designed as a special performance made to convey hope and comfort people around the world who are having a difficult time due to the coronavirus in the new year.” It will be the first SMTown Live in 18 months.
Judging from the poster, the concert will be streamed on V Live, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Beyond Live.
