GOT7’s Jinyoung signs up with BH Entertainment, not Big Hit

Who else thought that Jinyoung signed up with Big Hit Entertainment? Totally understandable. The company, sometimes referred to as “BH” on stan Twitter, has been amassing subsidiaries so it would be no surprise if a member of GOT7 joins its roster. However, it’s South Korean acting agency BH Entertainment which announced today that Jinyoung has signed an exclusive contract with them.

Yes, we are getting more of actor Jinyoung but that doesn’t mean it would get in the way of a possible GOT7 reunion. “Through BH Entertainment’s system, we will provide both material and emotional support for Jinyoung’s diverse career as an actor and musician,” said BH Entertainment in a press release. Is a solo album in the pipeline too? We sure hope so.

We first got to see Jinyoung’s acting chops on “Dream High 2” in 2012. He then appeared in “My Love Eun Dong” and “The Legend of the Blue Sea.” More recently, he starred in “He Is Psychometric” and “When My Love Blooms.”

You might be wondering which other artists BH Entertainment handles. Don’t worry, ahgases. Jinyoung seems to be in good hands. Among the actors signed with the company are Kim Go-eun (“Guardian: The Lonely and Great God”), Lee Jin-wook (“Sweet Home”), and former Wonder Girls member Ahn So-hee (“Train to Busan”).

We’re excited to see his on-screen return. Break a leg, Jinyoung.
