NCT Ten’s top 5 dance videos that prove he’s one of K-Pop’s bests

If you asked us to list down the best dancers in K-Pop, Ten wouldn’t just make the cut—he’d rank very high.

Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul is formidable, not just because of his strong technique and versatility, but also for his talent in choreography. Of course, he’s a great singer too (he wouldn’t debut in NCT U, WayV and SuperM otherwise). But when it comes to dance, our eyes can’t help but zero in on him. He’s a sight to behold.

Ahead of Ten’s 25th birthday, we’re looking back on the dance videos that will have you pick him as your bias…or biaswreck you at least.

Demon Ten on “Hit The Stage”

Let’s start with a crowd favorite. Every NCTzen has probably watched Ten’s fun and freaky “Victimae Paschali Laudes” performance on “Hit The Stage.” The use of robes and smoke combined with his half-fluid, half-sharp movements makes it extra hypnotizing. His smirk when he removes his robe says he’s committed to the bit.

He mixes body contortion with (slightly “Thriller”-esque) hip-hop combos. Of course, we have to mention that killer move where he twisted his body like a zombie. That look of amazement and joy on Chaeyoung and Taemin’s faces? Felt. We still can’t believe he didn’t win that contest.

Ten and Winwin’s “Lovely” duet

The contemporary duet choreographed by Ten and Winwin is like a punch in the gut. It’s an emotionally charged interpretation of a Billie Eilish and Khalid track about overcoming depression. If it brought tears to your eyes, you’re not alone.

The mirror move in the beginning? The little kiss on the neck? The tree that’s broken in half becoming whole at the end? All great details. The outfits also suggest coming to terms with the dark and light parts of yourself. If WayV is telling us to love ourselves, who are we to say no?

The SuperM dance trinity meal

After watching this video, our first thought was, “So is Ten part of the matching parka dancer squad now?” ICYDK, there’s a circle of (sexy!) dancers in K-Pop (which includes Taemin, Kai and BTS’ Jimin) who designed a parka for their squad. The SuperM performance video is proof that he’d definitely fit right in.

They’re all amazing but judging from the comments, Ten had a lot of people swerving on his lane. His performance is giving us modern “Black Swan” vibes. The lighting is also fantastic—helping emphasize his dance lines. It’s not one to miss.

The shirtless choreo clip for a Kun track

Okay, shworny folk. This one’s for you. While there are some idols who often go shirtless (*cough* Wonho *cough*), Ten rarely takes his top off. So when he posted this rough choreo clip for Kun’s instrumental track on his Instagram, our jaws dropped. He also showed off a clever use of a piece of cloth.

We get to see Ten’s back muscles move. We get another peek at his pec tattoo. It’s raw and powerful. It’s a treat. Everybody say, “Thank you, Ten!”

This classic SR15B rookie dance practice

Remember when NCT members started receiving as much attention as monster rookies? We like to look back on those days by rewatching old dance practices. This SR15B (composed of Hansol, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun and Ten) video is our favorite among them.

The Ten x Taeyong dance duo is a force to be reckoned with since the beginning. It’s evident how hungry the boys were to debut. If you ever find yourself trying to decide whether you should join that NCT stream party, watch this.

Honorable mention: The “New Heroes” dance practice

We couldn’t not include a dance practice for one of Ten’s solo singles. “New Heroes” gives us a bit of Troye Sivan vibes and we’re drinking it up. Our eyes are always peeled for his next solo track.

Do you agree with our picks?
