You know what I didn’t see coming? Post-vaccine selfies.
No, I don’t mean the sweaty victory photos people take after lining up for hours and finally getting their shot at their respective LGU vaccination hubs. Specifically, I mean the hot thirst traps that are basically a remix of the classic sexting staple that come with a message saying “u up,” but now with an anti-COVID stamp.
On Apr. 13, Mayor Vico Sotto posted what, taken out of context, looked like a desperate cry for help from horndog bussy pics. “Ang dami ko na hong iniisip wag niyo na idagdag ’yung pwet niyo,” the Pasig mayor said in an FB live.
(“I’m already worrying about so many things, please don’t add your butts to that.”)
As it turned out, he was talking about people sending him photos of their vaccinated butts, ostensibly to check if being vaccinated in the butt was okay. “Minsan, may nagpadala na sa akin, picture nila, binabakunahan sila sa pwet. Ngayon, okay lang naman na mabakunahan sa pwet. Normal ‘yan. Medical ang usapan. Pero pakiusap wag niyo naman po i-send sa akin.”
(Some have sent me photos of themselves being vaccinated in the butt. So, yes, it’s normal to be vaccinated in the butt. But please don’t send a photo of that to me.)
The mayor also said that if you have arm tattoos, it’s possible that you can be vaccinated in other parts of the body, like the butt.
Now while Sotto passed the photos off as a clueless person making sure that what was done to them was correct, I find it a little sus. I’ve seen you, alter Twitter. I know how hot and bothered y’all have been for him. It will not surprise me if y’all are taking hot post-vaxx photos of your holes to the mayor you’re down bad for. I’m not saying I don’t get it because I do. But as great as and Korolev crater-like your bussy may be, this man has a job to do.
