Celebrate ‘Butter’ Thee Remix with a fundraiser for Afghan women and hot girl fan art

ARMY and Thee Hotties, we can finally stream BTS’ “Butter” remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion which dropped today, Aug. 27. It wasn’t a smooth-sailing ride, but after Thee hot girl coach won against her1501 Certified Entertainment for the right to release the collab, it’s finally here.

Queen Meg’s verses fit right in the dance track, a very worthy addition to an already catchy bop. We’re hoping that there’s a rap collab in the works so we can hear more of her throwing bars along with BTS’ rap line. “Cypher” feat. Megan Thee Stallion, anyone? We definitely still have our hopes up for a music video with a lot of twerking involved. We won’t say no to a live performance together, either.

Aside from streams and song purchases (which Billboard—for some reason—felt the need to ask BTS in its latest cover story if the group thought these fan efforts were chart manipulation), fans are celebrating with Thee ARMY Fund and a whole lot of fan art which Megan Thee Stallion shared on Twitter and Instagram Stories.

What is Thee ARMY Fund? So glad you asked. In honor of the collab drop, ARMY and Thee Hotties organized a donation effort with proceeds split between Black Women for Wellness, Women for Afghan Women, and The Houston Food Bank. As of today, it has surpassed it’s goal of $100,000—a feat considering that it only began on Aug. 25.

Megan Thee Stallion is also sharing in the hype by sharing several fan arts for the collab. One of the posts she retweeted was the fan art of Filipino artist Ulsi. Can we take this as a sign from the universe that the rapper will be holding a local concert in the (hopefully) near-ish future?

The American rapper also showed her excitement by changing her Twitter header and profile photo to fan edits made by ARMY. Will BTS change theirs too so they can be matchy-matchy?
