After a long drought in K-pop concerts, us Filipino fans now face a flood. How’s the bank account holding up? If you haven’t completely depleted your concert funds yet, here are some of the K-pop shows you can still catch in 2022. But make sure you also leave some for next year’s shows (hello, Blackpink!) and shows from local artists (hello, SB19!).

(G)I-dle’s “Just Me ( )I-dle”
After a rough 2021 that included a 14-month hiatus, (G)I-dle made their strong comeback as a five-member group this year with their first studio album titled “I Never Die.” On their first world tour called “Just Me ( )I-dle,” the girls perform new and old faves like “Tomboy” and “Latata.”
When and where: Sept. 11 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City

“K-pop Masterz Ep.2”
The lineup for round two of the “K-pop Masterz” concert series features top boy group faves iKon, Ateez, and GOT7’s Youngjae. If you weren’t able to catch Youngjae’s “Sugar” mini concert and fan sign back in July, here’s your chance to see him live. Don’t forget to wear your dancing shoes because it’s bound to be one hell of a party with these three artists.
When and where: Sept. 23 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City

Sistar’s Soyou at Korea Festival 2022
Technically, the Korea Festival hosted by the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines isn’t a concert. But apart from several activities and booths, it has teased a special guest that fans are sure is Sistar’s Soyou. While waiting for official confirmation, local artists like P-pop groups Kaia and VXON are sure to be there.
When and where: Sept. 10 and 11 at the Glorietta Activity Center and Palm Drive Activity Center in Makati

Jessi’s “Zoom In” Manila
I see you lookin’ at Jessi’s p-i-c. You can finally see the queen in the flesh on her “Zoom In” Manila show. Jessi has high expectations for Filo Jebbies so for those who are going, make sure that you can sing along to all her songs. You heard her. We can’t disappoint.
When and where: Sept. 30 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay

Seventeen’s “Be the Sun”
Ticketing horror stories aside, you shouldn’t miss out on Seventeen’s “Be the Sun” concert. The video clips on our TLs promise what could be the group’s most explosive set list yet. For this tour, the boys are letting some Carats belt out Seungkwan’s “Aju Nice” line with the high note on the mic and asking Carats to show them a “Snap Shoot” choreo. Be prepared!

Jay B’s “Tape: Press Pause”
Fans have been joking that we’re getting GOT7 shows in tingi—not that we’re complaining about the solo work showcase. Jay B’s first solo world tour “Tape: Press Pause” will likely also feature songs from his upcoming second EP “Be Yourself.” Since Manila is the second stop in the tour after Seoul, we’ll be one of the first to watch the new tracks get performed live.
When and where: Oct. 1 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City

“POPstival 2022”
K-pop meets P-pop in “POPstival 2022.” Its jam-packed lineup includes most of the “Queendom 2” contestants. We’ll get to see Hyolyn, Brave Girls, Viviz, Loona (minus Chuu), Park Bom, as well as rapper Be’O. Sharing the stage with them are P-pop acts Felip (a.k.a. SB19’s Ken), BINI, G22, VXON, Calista, and Lady Pipay. Talk about a dream set list.
When and where: Oct. 21 at the CCP Open Grounds in Pasay

TXT’s “Act: Love Sick”
Anti-romantic or not, we know we’d love to attend TXT’s first world tour. Apart from tracks from their recent “darker” albums, we’ll see the boys perform older favorites like “Crown” and “Blue Orangeade” on “Act: Love Sick.” No “Cat & Dog,” though, so MOAs won’t get to bark together in the venue.
When and where: Oct. 27 and 28 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay

“Hallyuween 2022”
A K-pop Halloween party? Sign us up. Celebrate the best holiday at Hallyuween 2022 with some of K-pop’s most badass acts. Go wild over K-rap legends CL and Epik High, groove with K-pop groups Pentagon and Kard, rock out with Gaho x KAVE, and dance the night away with DJ Soda. The cherry on top? BGYO will be representing P-pop, too.
When and where: Oct. 29 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay

Eric Nam’s “There and Back Again”
Eric Nam is finally returning and we’re ready to crydance to his songs at the “There and Back Again” show. We also expect to giggle and get super touched by his long-ish ments. And you can’t blame Nam Nation if some of us attend specifically to see his dancers, too.
When and where: Nov. 10 at SM Aura Premier’s Samsung Hall in Taguig

DPR’s “Regime”
Are you ready for the DPR crew? We can’t wait to bounce along to DPR Live’s melodic rap, get lost in DPR Ian’s frenetic exploration with tracks from his latest album “Moodswings in to Order,” and groove to DPR Cream’s smooth tracks. If you can’t go to the “Head in the Clouds” festival in December, you can catch this 88rising collaborators’ “Regime” show instead.
When and where: Nov. 30 at The Filinvest Tent in Alabang

BONUS: Super Junior’s “Super Show 9: Road”
Super Junior postponed their Aug. 6 “Super Show 9: Road” concert due to the sudden passing of Eunhyuk’s father and Siwon testing positive for COVID-19 days before. While the rescheduled date has yet to be set, it’s possible that it will be held before the year ends. Fans who couldn’t attend last time still have a chance to see them.
