Guess the 10 hotties joining the first-ever local BL reality dating show

The popularity of Boys Love (BL) media in the country seems to have subsided last year. But one show might just turn this around. Black Sheep is about to debut “Spark,” which they’re dubbing the country’s first-ever BL dating reality show. And guesses for who the 10 hotties joining its cast are now being made.

No word yet on the exact date of its release on Black Sheep’s YouTube channel but it’s coming to our screens this month. Other details are still under wraps but the teaser did say that the boys are finding love outdoors. Will it be set on the beach like “Love Island” or “Single’s Inferno”? We’ll have to wait and see.

If you’re excited to get your queer reality TV fix, you can try identifying who’s on the teaser cast posters that started dropping last night. Even Director Theodore Boborol has been dropping hints. We’ve been on the lookout for strong guesses and here’s what we’ve found.

“He knows how to handle his tools,” one cast member is described. Word on the street is that it’s architect-athlete Karl Bautista. Boborol commented, “Tita will be proud, K!” so Bautista seems to be a shoo-in.

Another cast member is called a “versatile content creator [who’s] had his heart broken before.” One name that came up is TikTok star Aaron Maniego’s. With Boborol commenting “Borta yarn!,” it is probably the self-proclaimed “Pambansang Bortang Barbie.”

“All the way from the top na sanay sa lamig, handa na ba siyang magpainit?” was written about one of them. One netizen guessed influencer-turned-actor Benedix Ramos who’s lived in Baguio in the past. Though Boborol did call him “Our Baguio boy S,” so we may be wrong.

Guesses for the one described as an “aspiring actor na ready na for matured roles” has so far been a toss-up between “Drag Race Philippines” queen Marina Summers and former UAAP tennis champ and now rookie actor Bong Gonzales. Because of his stint in Black Sheep’s “Teen Clash” and Boborol commenting “Excited for B!,” we’re going with Gonzales for this one.

Netizens are still trying to figure out who the rest of the boys are, but do you already have a pair you’re rooting for to get together?
