Celebs, Personalities Took to Social Media to Express Sentiments on #ParisAttacks

Last night, one unassuming time in Paris, France, undetermined terrorists took over the French capital with shots fired, explosions thrown, and hostages held in six different locations.  As of press time, 153 lives were taken away by the incident, who were all either casually dining at a restaurant, watching a soccer game, or attending a concert.

The news about the rampage first broke to some through social media. To wake up to a Facebook notification saying friends and loved ones were “marked safe during Paris Terror Attacks” was startling—something everyone was caught off-guard with, especially those in the city, itself.

As the scale of this terrorist attack sank in, local celebrities, personalities, and influencers took to social media as a platform to express their deepest sentiments on the incident.

We, here, in Preen give out our prayers to those affected.

Here are some of the responses that came flooding in after the news broke in:

#prayforparis Such an ironic hashtag since religion is what brought about this tragedy in the first place. #paris
