It was inevitable for at least one designer in this season of Philippine Fashion Week to use his collection to say something about current affairs. Last night, Arnold Galang made a black and white statement on peace through his collection entitled Equilibrium.
Long skirts, loose pants, oversized jackets, relaxed tops, and deconstructed dresses were featured in either staple color were presented for a solid monochromatic statement. Bags that bore a peace symbol on them also figured in the somber collection.
