We all know that a lot of us are picky when it comes to eating our vegetables. At the same time, we’re also always striving to be healthier versions of ourselves, yet somehow don’t get to live up to that promise by the end of every year.

We’re inching towards the second month of the year, and we want to know: How’s your fitness plan going so far? If in any case you’re on the brink of giving it up this early, we listed down eight organic restaurants that have opened in the past few years that may just bring back the flavor missing in your life:

#1 Adaäm & Yves Organic Bistro

The newest on this list, Adaäm & Yves Organic Bistro is already making waves in the local gastronomic scene despite only being a few months old. The menu is not entirely vegetarian but it assures healthier versions of the usual restaurant favorites. It is heavily-influenced by European cuisine, rooting from owner and chef Sean Go’s English educational background.

Must-tries: Portobello Road (P390), Bogart and Bacall (P310), and Quiche Lorraine (P350)

Adaäm & Yves Organic Bistro, G/F, Icon Plaza, 25th Street Corner 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. (02) 801 6084. Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, visit their Facebook page.

#2 The Clean Plate by Twist

Distinct from this roster is The Clean Plate by Twist, wherein the entrées are mostly Filipino dishes. Do not misjudge that this is a no-frills restaurant, though. It pushes for enlightened eating among its diners, especially the young ones, and the simplest recipes are presented in a quality way.

Must-tries: OMG Burger (Oh My Gulay) (P260), Inadobong Kale and Basella (P160), and Tuscan Salad (P175)

The Clean Plate by Twist, 2/F, UP Town Center, Katipunan Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. Open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, visit their Instagram.

#3 Susi

Susi, or “key” in English, hopes it can unlock the benefits of a healthy lifestyle just waiting to be tapped in each of us. It strictly has a vegan, no dairy, and gluten-free menu which shows the inventiveness of the restaurant as it modifies household favorites such as quiche and carbonara with vegan-friendly ingredients.

Must-tries: Bandera Negra soup (P395), The Gaudi (P315), and El Chimichurri (P475)

Susi, Bellagio 2, Forbestown, Burgos Circle,Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. (02) 833 7874. Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday-Sunday. For more information, visit their Facebook page.

Staying true to its name, it mostly serves high protein recovery meals and complex carbohydrates, all while sustaining the practice of healthy eating.

Must-tries: Buffalo Cauliflower Bites (P250), Spinach Tzatziki (P210), and Matipuno smoothie (P170)

Translating healthy living through food and presentation, The Wholesome Table has specific menu options that are vegan, vegetarian, non-fat, dairy-free, and gluten-free. It is one of those upscale restaurants that introduced organic dishes without compromising on taste. All of the ingredients that are used are made from scratch. The restaurant’s dishes also opt for healthier alternatives rather than the usual fixings.

Must-tries: Buddha Bowl (P380), Burrata (P350), and Vegan Cheese (P220)
