Amid all the celebrity breakup news recently, rumors of a new couple are brewing and it involves Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and actor-singer Sam Milby.
A source from ABS-CBN reportedly told Bandera that the two were a lowkey “hot item” back then, but did not push through because of their busy schedules. Fellow actor Piolo Pascual, apparently, also hinted at their relationship during Pia’s homecoming event at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last Jan. 28 where he and Sam serenaded her.
This all began during Pia’s #askmissuniverse Q&A over Twitter a few days ago where a netizen asked her who she would want to have as her leading man in a movie. Pia answered “Sam Milby,” along with a telling winky emoji.
Since then, fans have gone crazy over “#SamPia,” especially when Pia’s Grand Homecoming Special premiered on ABS-CBN last night.
While there’s still no confirmation from either party, we gotta admit that this duo looks good both on and offscreen. And if their relationship does push through this time, let’s hope it doesn’t stop Pia from pursuing her dream to enter politics.
