Does Heart Evangelista Plan to Run for Public Office?

Now that Heart Evangelista is actively helping out her husband Sen. Chiz Escudero on his VP campaign trail, people can’t help asking if the actress plans to enter politics herself.

From being a teen star to a drama actress and now, a visual artist, Heart knows a thing or two about changing up herself. And since showbiz figures becoming politicians is quite commonplace in our country, Heart running for office wouldn’t be the most outrageous thing you’d hear these days.

But we digress. Heart tells Bandera that she doesn’t see herself in politics and is more than happy with the influence she has right now. When they ask me if I want to enter politics, I always that politics isn’t for me, I am already in a position of influence right now).”

Furthermore, she’s more than happy to be of help given the influence she has right now. You already have followers who support what you do. For  normal person, you are already in a position where you can help other people,)” Heart says.

So for those of you hoping to see Heart in office, you can cool it for now. Besides, Heart has already been so busy with her taping schedule for her new TV show, her new beauty book, her collab with Mark Bumgarner, and her upcoming project with local cosmetics brand Happy Skin. Between all of that and the campaign for her husband, this woman could use a break.
