The long weekend is coming to a close, and we’re a few hours away from going back to our usual Monday grind. But don’t feel down, we’re sure you had a fun time with loved ones, whether it’s staying at home and cooking up something meat-free for the family, or going on a getaway for a much-needed break. Our local celebrities surely did, and they share a surplus of social media posts for us to see.
So, before we go back to reality tomorrow, let’s take a little lookback of what they were up to during Holy Week.
Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes
Marian and Dingdong decided to fly to Palawan for the long weekend and give Baby Zia her very first beach experience. That little smile on Zia’s face is a pretty good indication that she’s loving the sun and sand.
Gretchen Barretto
About last night ❤️ Hong Kong A photo posted by Gretchen Barretto (@gretchenbarretto) on Mar 25, 2016 at 5:10pm PDT
Nothing beats catching up with your friends during your free time, especially if it’s in another country. Gretchen met up with some good friends like Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales at the Four Seasons in Hong Kong, and we’re guessing they ate a lot with the amount of food Instavideos on her feed right now.
Ruffa Gutierrez
Also spotted in Hong Kong was Ruffa Gutierrez who spent her vacation checking out paintings during Art Basel 2016. We wonder what she’s contemplating while looking at that indigo painting?
Atom Araullo
#Granada #Spain. Took this shot with my greasy fingers as I was chowing on churros in the city square. I looked up and the light was so beautiful as it filtered through the trees. #Spring #WalangspringspringsaPinaseh A photo posted by Atom Araullo (@atomaraullo) on Mar 25, 2016 at 4:36am PDT
Taking a break from his hectic job as a journalist, Atom Araullo strolled around the streets of Spain and just marveling at the country’s beautiful architecture.
Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis takes movie nights to another level as she spent her holiday with family and friends Martine Cajucom and Isabelle Daza at an outdoor cinema in Melbourne.
Toni Gonzaga
My husband is the best travel partner!❤️ A photo posted by Toni Gonzaga-Soriano (@celestinegonzaga) on Mar 25, 2016 at 11:26pm PDT
While Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis began showing here in the Philippines, Toni Gonzaga and her husband, who happens to be the film’s executive producer, Paul Soriano spent a chilly weekend in New Zealand where they saw a lot of beautiful mountains and meadows, and even went on a ferry ride. If that’s not marriage #goals, we don’t know what is.
Alex Gonzaga
Meanwhile, Toni’s younger sister, Alex, gathered her closest friends for a trip to Singapore. And as you can see, it looks like she’s enjoying playing with patterns with her blue dress and her floral background in the photo.
Pia Wurtzbach
Quality time with my loves! @harleybarleyyy, @ninaalmoro, @arviedizon and @gerypenaso ❤ A photo posted by Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach (@piawurtzbach) on Mar 26, 2016 at 7:20am PDT
In case you haven’t heard yet, our Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach is back in Manila and she spent quality time with her closest friends. No word yet as to how long she’ll stay here, but she is tasked to turn over her Bb. Pilipinas crown during the pageant on April 17. Let’s just hope Dr. Mike doesn’t miss her too much, though.
Heart Evangelista
Ever the supportive wife, Heart Evangelista flew to Iloilo to help out with her husband Sen. Chiz Escudero’s VP campaign. We imagine this might be tiring for Heart, but she’s still beaming from ear to ear and showing no signs of exhaustion at all.
Solenn Heussaff

Another woman who’s working during the Holy Week was Solenn Heussaff as she shot an episode for Tripinas in Calauit Island. She’s also made some cute friends over at the safari park.
