When you say sporty luxe, no one does it better than Olivier Rousteing. At least that’s what he proved with the debut of his collab with NikeLab. Featuring his signature penchant for all things opulent, the predominantly black and gold collection is primarily about how you’ll look rather than if you do break a sweat.
“I was inspired by winning when I created the collection, ” said Olivier. “Being a champion and what is a champion. I love champions. I wanted to bring gold and glam in a soccer player’s story.”
And just in case he wasn’t inspired enough, Olivier enlisted the help of Cristiano Ronaldo in making the collection. The football star advised the designer while creating the pieces, described as an “off-pitch” look, and modeled for the collab. “I think we made a good team,” said Olivier. “And this partnership could be repeated in the future but maybe in different roles. Who knows?”
The NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing: Football Nouveu will be available on June 2 via the Nike official website and select NikeLab stores.
