Social media continues to be abuzz with photos of Pride marches all around the world, including our own. And in case you missed the occasion, we decided to list sweet and colorful desserts that you can indulge in for the rest of Pride month—or any other month.
And don’t worry, it’s not going to be one of those excessively rainbow-tinted foods that everyone’s been doing.
Pufft Marshmallows
This dessert stall offers tasty square-shaped marshmallows of different hues and flavors like lemon, mint chocolate, and just recently, salted ube.
Pufft Marshmallows. For orders, call (0916) 400-9764 or email at [email protected]. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
Sebastian’s Ice Cream
Well-known for their quirky ice cream flavors, Sebastian’s revealed their newest Strati pops last month. These popsicles contain 30 layers of fruits and other ingredients, creating distinct colors and flavors. We wouldn’t mind trying the halo-halo and tropical-flavored rainbow one.
Sebastian’s Ice Cream. The Podium and SM Mall of Asia. For a complete list of branches and more information, visit their Facebook page.
Incredibowl
For those who want a good smoothie bowl, Incredibowl has a wide variety of them delivered to your home. Plus, who wouldn’t want to dig in a hearty bowl filled with fruits, chocolate, and acai berries?
Incredibowl. For orders, call (0917) 823-8907 or email [email protected]. For more information, visit their Facebook page and Instagram.
Chez Karine Bakery
Colorful desserts aren’t complete without a box of French macarons. Aside from the standard monotone ones, Chez Karine also plays mix-and-match with their macarons.
Chez Karine Bakery. SM Mega Fashion Hall and Serendra. For more information, visit their website or email them at [email protected].
Scout’s Honor
If you haven’t tried their cookies, Scout’s Honor serves freshly-baked ones which range from bright red velvet cookies to subtle mint chocolate. These can also be paired with any flavored milk of your choice like corn or Fruity Pebbles.
Scout’s Honor. 4/F Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
Starbucks
The pink, purple, and orange drinks may not be listed in our local Starbucks secret menus (yet) but you can still try to make it home. All you need is some fresh fruits and berries, soy milk or coconut milk, and sweet syrup—depending on which one you want to drink.
