After a year of dating, Miranda Kerr and boyfriend Evan Spiegel are now engaged. The bride-to-be posted the good news on Instagram along with a custom filter featuring the a Bitmoji sticker “Marry Me” sticker that you can also download on Snapchat right now.
The couple met at a Louis Vuitton dinner in LA and became friends first before dating. Despite the age gap, with Miranda being older than eight years to the 25-year old Snapchat CEO, they’ve gotten along very well. Miranda said to the Edit, “He’s 25, but acts like he’s 50,” she said. “He’s not out partying. He goes to work in [L.A.’s] Venice. He comes home. We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early.”
This will be Miranda’s second marriage. Her first marriage with Orlando Bloom ended on amicable terms with conditions before either parent could introduce a new love interest to their child Flynn. “We had to know the person for six months and feel good about them,” said Miranda.
Both Orlando and Flynn says that they like Evan for Miranda. The couple were first seen as a couple in June 2015. They soon bought a Brentwood estate together.
Last week, sources from Evan’s camp did say that he was gearing up to propose and was looking for rings. Evan chose a $150k Solitairie ring for the former Victoria’s Secret Angel.
