If you’re wondering where Nikki Gil is, she’s right where she wants to be. “I recently launched my own blog where I share my travel, beauty, and life advice. Basically, all the things I wanted to do but couldn’t while I was in showbiz.”
Why this and why such a big endeavor just right after getting married? “It’s always been my passion but I’ve never got around to do it. So now, my supportive husband said I should just go for it.”

Who’s your feed peg?
I like Kate Hudson’s account. I geek over travel Instagrams and hotels that would cost me an arm and a leg to check in.
Any favorite Instagram fashion shops?
I haven’t found any recently because I am an off-the-rack kind of girl. Even my wedding dress was off-the-rack. I want to know immediately what it looks like on me. I’m sure I’ll get into online shopping eventually as everyone is into it.
Any favorite stores?
The usual suspects like Topshop, Uniqlo, and H&M. I was in Spain recently where Zara was everywhere and I kinda went nuts.
What’s a song you sing to yourself?
“I Believe I Can Fly.” I have so many songs but that’s what comes top of mind.
Favorite lipstick?
Anything nude. Right now I am using the Candy K Lip Kit. It’s super drying (Laughs)
How has marriage changed you? I know it’s only been a few months.
It changed me in so many ways. I used to be super dependent on my parents. Now, I am dependent on my husband and myself.
Surprising thing you learned about yourself recently?
That I can cook. I used to bake but I didn’t know that I could cook. I cook steak because it’s so easy, some salt and pepper and you’re done.
Vanity essentials right now?
I hoard bottles of the Aveeno Daily Moisturizer. I also like the Calming Lavender and Oatmeal lotion. I’m looking forward to Aveeno bringing in their facial skin care line. I am a fan of their Clear Complexion line.
A celebrity you’d exchange lives with?
It’s funny but I have always been a fan of Jennifer Aniston, ever since Friends. Other than her, I want to be the Queen Bey. Pero bitin one day
